friends, etc... There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!
Fees
There is a fee for each child using the Child Care of
$3 per child for up to 2½ hours (children under
one year of age = 2 hours). Punch cards are sold at
the Child Care check-in desk. We prefer to use a punch
card system. A $20 card for 10 visits or a $40 card
for 20 visits may be purchased in child care. Please
present punch card when signing in.
Staffing
Because we are a drop-in service, it is difficult to
guarantee staffing ratios. We make every effort to anticipate
daily staffing needs. Ask our attendants to inform you
of our slower times if this is a concern to you. Please
feel free to ask any questions you may have about our
facility. We want you to feel comfortable.
Diapering
We ask that you make sure your child is wearing a new
disposable diaper before leaving for your workout. We
feel our attendant's time is best used doing crafts,
activities, story times, etc. If your child has a soiled
diaper while in Child Care, our staff will attend to
your child's needs.
Snack
Feel free to bring your child(ren) a snack(s) at any
time. We will gladly distribute them. We ask that snacks
be labeled and eaten at the table. Our scheduled lunch
time is 11:30 a.m. You may want to bring your child(ren)
their lunch or a snack at this time to make them feel
more comfortable.
Illness
Sick children cannot be accepted in Child Care. If a
child arrives with a bad cold, cough, fever, discolored
runny nose, or any other symptoms of illness, they will
not be allowed in Child Care. If symptoms become apparent
after the child is admitted, the parent will be asked
to take the child from Child Care. We reserve the right
to refuse to accept your child if we feel it will place
other children at risk. We truly appreciate your cooperation.
Separation Problems
We will do all we can to comfort you child and help
them enjoy their time with us. If a child is inconsolable
for 20 minutes, the parent will be contacted. There
will be no charge for their stay.
Discipline
We will make every effort to use positive reinforcement
to encourage Child Care rules. Time-outs will be used
if necessary. If all else fails, we will contact you.
General
-Please be sure that your child(ren) is prepared for
