Aquatics: Fun for everyone... just add water!
Welcome
to the Pool! Pool
Guidelines
Enjoy the 25-meter pool, whirlpool, steam room, and redwood
sauna as part of your membership. A variety of Open Swim
times are available and are listed on the Pool Schedule.
Paper copies are available in the wall bins across from
the Activities Desk.
Pulse offers a wide variety of aquatic fitness programs
for the aqua enthusiast, including Master's Swim for accomplished
lap swimmers or triathletes and Youth
Swim Team year round. Anyone may participate in Aqua
Aerobics classes at no additional cost or sign-up. Please
inform the instructor of any special conditions such as
pregnancy or rehabilitation.

Adult and children group and/or private American
Red Cross Water Safety Program LESSONS are available
to PULSE members for all skill levels from beginners to
advanced. There is an additional fee for lessons. PULSE
swim lessons are available 12 months per year.

Summer 2008 Swim Lesson Registration: Monday, June 2 – Friday, June 6, 2008; 9 a.m. - noon and 2 – 6 p.m. in the Pulse Lobby
We will run five 2-week sessions with daily classes, Monday –Thursday, starting Monday, June 9, 2008 and ending Thursday August 14, 2008.

different aqua aerobics classes offered several times
throughout the day. Note: Anyone may participate in Aqua

Fit
Fitness comes in all shapes and sizes! Kick
start your day with this fun-packed hour of water exercises.
Adult Swim Lessons/Lap Swim
All four lanes will be utilized for lap swimming. One to two lanes will be used as needed for any level adult swimmers interested in Swim Instruction at these times. Extra cost and registration is required.
Adult Swim Technique & Triathlon Swim Class
This class is designed for Intermediate Level to Advanced swimmers only. No extra cost or sign up.
Aqua Fit
Get moving to the beat of great music while you get fit
and strong.
Aqua Jazz
Join us after work for a great workout, great music and stress relief!
Aqua Rhythm
Enjoy an energizing cardiovascular workout with a variety
of movement put to music concluding with toning and stretching.
Hydro Fit
Using different kinds of equipment and high intensity
sets, you can achieve your fitness goals and lower your
risk for injury.
Water
Relief
Get the relief you need from arthritis, injury or surgery
with water exercises that include aerobics, stretching,
and full range of motion joint work.
Water
Works
Aerobics, toning, and stretching with buoyancy exercises
that may otherwise be impossible to do on land.
Cross
Training
Add a variety to your fitness routine. Equipment and intervals
are used to maximize intensity. Come join us and get your
heart pumping.
Fabulous
Fifties
A
wonderful class for members 55+. With our certified instructor,
you will participate in a variety of aqua aerobic strengthening
and stretching activities. Working out in a group is what
makes it so fun. Join us every Friday at 8 a.m. at the pool. |
