safety instruction and information to meet the broad demands
of Fort Collins PULSE members.
We will customize each and every clients workout
to address his or her personal needs and objectives to
help them achieve their personal fitness goals, and to
maximize their Fort Collins PULSE experience.
PULSE
houses 20 educated certified degreed professional personal
trainers. The trainers are all experienced in "training
and conditioning" of the human body. Personal training
at the PULSE is for all types of people, with all different
types of goals, to be achieved.
Our
trainers are very diversified. We offer both male and
female trainers, between the ages of 20 and 50 years
old. Each serves a unique niche and one of them can
help you develop an effective program that matches your
personal goals. Our trainers can help you with everything
from simple training to sport specific training, rehabilitation
of injuries, disability training, etc...
PULSE
trainers are required to be educated and experienced.
They have a range of experience: B.A., B.S., Masters
Degrees, and PhDs. They must maintain the following:
-
All must hold a current personal training certificate.
- Most hold degrees in a related field.
- All must have an athletic background and/or a teaching
background.
- All must continue to take exercise and science related
course work.
PULSE
trainers are here to serve all members of all populations.
They understand the importance of the proper program
design for each individual, and realize everyone has
a unique metabolic profile meaning that what works for
one individual may not work for another. The PULSE trainers
are here to design a program that will ensure continued
success for each client.
PULSE
Equipment
The PULSE weight room is the most complete in town!
Most clubs have two of each machine, but PULSE has at
least 3-5 of every machine. Clients benefit by not having
to wait for equipment.
Fitness
Testing
Fitness testing is designed to give the client an idea
of what kind of physical shape they are in before starting
a workout program. We do body fat composition helping
clients to measure accurate body fat versus lean muscle
mass.
We encourage clients to take the Fitness Assessment
before beginning their workout program and re-test every
8-12 weeks.
Health Profiles
-cardiovascular
endurance
-flexibility
-girth measurements
-lung capacity
-muscular strength and endurance
Do it now -- and again in three months -- to check for
